Refund Policy
Last updated: 17 August 2026
We would rather you never need this page. Instead of a trial, we back the first payment with a money-back guarantee — so the risk of trying SEObotly is on us, not on you. If you still end up on a plan that is wrong for you, this is exactly what happens.
Operator. The Service is operated by SEObotly. Refund requests: support@seobotly.com. Payments are processed by our payment provider, who acts as merchant of record and appears as the seller on your receipt and card statement.
1. Start with the guarantee, not a trial
There is no trial period: you pay first and the guarantee in section 2 covers you. We recommend running at least one full audit and one keyword query as soon as you sign up — that is the fastest way to know whether the data is useful for your market, and the guarantee window is counted from that first report, not from the payment.
2. 14-day money back, counted from your first report
If you are not satisfied, email us within 14 days of your first finished reportand we will refund your first payment in full. You do not need to explain why. This applies once per customer, to the first subscription payment.
The window opens the day your first audit or AI-visibility report is ready, not the day you are charged — so a busy week cannot cost you the right to a refund. If no report has been generated, the window closes 30 days after the payment.
One condition applies alongside the deadline: the guarantee covers a plan you havetried, not a plan you have spent. It is available while you have usedless than 20% of the month's credits. Every credit is a request we have already paid a third-party provider for (section 3), so a full month of consumption cannot be returned to us the way an unopened product can. Twenty per cent is several audits, keyword sets and AI visibility runs — far more than anyone needs to judge whether the data is right for their market.
You can see the exact figure at any time in the console under My account → Credits. If you are close to the limit and still unsure, write to us before you continue — we would rather talk than have you find out afterwards.
After the window closes, subscription payments are not refunded for the period already started. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for — see section 5.
3. Credits you have already used
Credits are the unit we charge for heavy operations: crawls, keyword and competitor queries, AI visibility runs and AI-written content. When you spend a credit, we pay a third-party provider for that specific request in the same moment.
This has one consequence worth stating plainly: credits that have already been consumed are not refundable, because the cost behind them has already left our account. Two things follow from that, and both work in your favour:
- Credits reserved for work that never ran — a cancelled job, a failed provider request, a shorter crawl than estimated — are returned automatically. You do not have to ask.
- For variable-cost operations such as AI content, we reserve the worst case and then return the difference once the real cost is known. Your credit ledger in the console shows every reserve and every return, with a reference for each line.
If you believe a charge is wrong — a job that produced nothing, a duplicate run, a bug on our side — tell us. Credits lost to a defect in our software are returned; that is a defect, not a purchase.
4. Annual plans
Annual plans are discounted because the commitment is annual. The 14-day rule in section 2 applies to them as well. After that window we do not refund the unused part of the year, but you may keep using the plan until it ends, and it will not renew if you cancel.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel from your account at any time, without contacting us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you already paid for. Your data stays available until the period ends, and you can export your reports at any point before that.
6. Chargebacks
Please email us before opening a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback freezes the account automatically and takes weeks to resolve, whereas a refund we issue directly usually lands in a few business days. We have never refused a request that fell under section 2.
7. Statutory rights
Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country. Where local law gives you a longer cancellation window or a stronger refund right than this policy, that law applies.
8. How to ask
Email support@seobotly.com from the address on the account. Tell us which charge you mean — the date and the amount are enough. We answer within two business days and process approved refunds to the original payment method.
